Radical cystectomy with ileal conduit urinary diversion is a major surgery where the bladder is removed due to cancer or other serious conditions. After the bladder is taken out, a new way for urine to leave the body is created using a piece of the small intestine. This piece is connected to the tubes that carry urine from the kidneys and is brought out to the belly as a small opening, allowing urine to drain into a bag outside the body.

The ureters were connected to this intestinal segment, which was then brought out to the abdominal wall as a stoma, providing a safe and effective pathway for urine drainage.
