Medical Transcriptionist – Radiology
Transcription & Documentation
Transcribe dictated radiology reports from audio recordings.
Prepare accurate and grammatically correct diagnostic reports.
Ensure correct use of medical terminology, abbreviations, and formatting.
Proofread and edit reports before final submission.
Maintain standard report templates as per department protocol.
2. Coordination & Workflow
Coordinate with radiologists for clarifications on unclear dictations.
Ensure reports are completed within defined TAT (Turnaround Time).
Update report status in HIS/RIS system.
Maintain proper filing and electronic record management.
