Consultant – Anesthesiologist
Pre-Operative Responsibilities
Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluation and assessment of patients.
Review medical history, lab reports, and diagnostic investigations.
Develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
Obtain informed consent for anesthesia procedures.
2. Intra-Operative Responsibilities
Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia as required.
Monitor vital parameters (ECG, BP, oxygen saturation, etc.) throughout procedures.
Manage airway and ventilation.
Respond promptly to emergencies and complications.
3. Post-Operative Responsibilities
Monitor patients in recovery room (PACU).
Manage post-operative pain and complications.
Ensure smooth handover to ICU/ward teams when required.
