Overview

High Blood Pressure is commonly known as Hypertension. It is the pressure exerted by blood against the walls of the blood vessels. In this condition, the blood pressure is higher than 140 over 90mmHg.

Symptoms

Systolic pressure refers to the amount of pressure in the arteries during contraction of the heart muscle, whereas, diastolic pressure refers to the blood pressure when the heart muscle is between beats.
